This site is a work in progress, a place to post the collaborative works generated from the Thursday image prompts found on Mine Enemy Grows Older. All are welcome here and all are welcome to participate.
Many writers are represented here. Sample their work and check out their blogs. Don’t be shy. Notes letting them know that you visited, and telling them how you feel about their work are more important than you may realize…
Here is the current prompt but please feel free to use any of the images here.
!if you have contributed a piece of writing and do not see it here please let me know!

rick, on my incongruent the link needs to change from why-paisley to whypaisley…
i love this.. and i love the way you have put all the paintings here so that we could pick and choose as we desire to as well…. this is really going to be impressive!!!!!!
What a fantastic collection. All you need is an editor, a publisher, what a fantastic book it would make, your paintings, all those different styles and ways of approaching writing. I can see the book, a hardcover with beautiful glossy prints. It’s nearly full moon,
my woman with no arms is still available for posting. Her dance card is still empty. :D
paisley, send me the link, please. I can’t locate it.
Hey Paul. It would be great to see a book come out of this. I’m certainly open if anyone has ideas. In the meantime let’s just keep making up stories!
Full moon is here, drat! The mid-wife says it will be next week. We’ll see. Thanks for the warm thoughts.
think i got it now, pepek. let me know if it works.
Rick, it appears you have fostered quite the community here. BEAUTIFUL!
Yes, Sir Mobbs, you have nutured, fostered, created out of the dust of thin cyber air, an artist’s community, a poet’s paradise, a clearing house, a story book. Your sites, thanks to your paintings and very unique view of life on this plane, are the most beautiful, the most challenging, the most provocative, the most blessed bang-on behemoth of the arts going!!!!!
Yes, there should be a book, a real book, made out of your paintings, and the collaborative nature of your storybook. When I retire, in 2010, I want to try and publish my film reviews, which are more than unique–containing philosophy, free verse, scholarship, and insights, into a book. The buzz is that non-fiction is “easier” to get published. And, of course, I am told that now on line there are myriads of possibilities to partially or wholly self-publish. In your case, maybe we will all band together, work together, use ALL of our resources, and really have a collaborative effort to get your book into actual print, and your art to even more of the masses. A grand scheme, enit?
Glenn
Here’s one for the boy reading with the dragon behind him.

I just like the approach you took with this topic. It is not every day that you simply find a subject so concise and informative.
